I'm Irene Mariam Thomas, a passionate and detail-oriented Documentation Specialist with over three years of experience helping global teams turn complex systems into accessible, user-friendly content. With a background in English Literature and a deep love for structured communication, I’ve built my career at the intersection of language, technology, and user experience.

At WiseTech Global, I work on creating technical content that simplifies intricate software workflows across the supply chain and logistics industry. My journey began with Blume Global, where I led and contributed to projects ranging from custom onboarding documentation to client-facing help portals and certification programs. Over time, I transitioned into the WiseTech ecosystem, where I now specialize in Docs-as-Code practices—using tools like Markdown, GitHub, DocFX, and DITA XML to deliver scalable, version-controlled documentation.

I’ve collaborated with product managers, developers, and UX teams to deliver high-impact documentation for enterprise clients like Hapag Lloyd, CMACGM, Honda, and Valor Victoria. Whether I’m structuring a how-to guide for an EDI integration, migrating legacy content to a new platform, or developing simulation-based training modules for new hires, I always strive to make information clear, consistent, and empowering.

I’m equally invested in innovation and mentorship—exploring ways to incorporate AI and prompt engineering into modern documentation workflows and supporting cross-functional teams as they adopt GitHub-based content authoring. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, journaling, and watching films through the lens of psychoanalysis, which influences my appreciation for clarity, context, and storytelling.
